This is a
restored archive of my original geocities Simple STM Design page. My intent was
just to demonstrate how an STM could be made cheaply and simply without any
dangerous high voltage using a unimorph disk scanner.
Several advanced amateurs and students have made STMs based on this design.

detailed up to date design I recommend the Dan Berard home built STM
